Preschool: $125 This 6 week class is designed with puppies in mind.Puppies have special needs. They are experiencing
life for the first time, and everything is new to them.Puppies also have some very important social periods that they
experience as they are developing their young minds. This class combines education about these different periods of social
development, some basic obedience foundations, plus helpful hints on dealing with normal puppy behaviors like mouthing,
house-training, chewing and much more! * note: the first night of this class is orientation and you will not bring your
dog.
Canine Elementary School: $120 This 6 week beginner class focuses on basic pet manners
and teaching your dog basic obedience skills. Some of the things that your dog will learn are sit, down, stay, attention,
come when called, and loose-leash walking as well as to sit politely for a greeting and to wait at the door.
This class is open to all beginner dogs. *note: the
first night of class is orientation; you will not bring your dog. For Starters: $120 Have one of those "stubborn" "difficult" or notoriously
"hard to train" dogs? Did you know that clicker training works for them too? Positive Reinforcement
methods work for all breeds, but some are just not Lassie or the perfect golden down the block. If you have one of these
dogs, this class is designed to teach you why your dog isn't, well a lab when it comes to learning, and how you can still
jump start training and make it into higher level classes, or just have a great canine companion. This class covers
the same material learned in Canine Elementary with a different flair. :) Canine Middle School: $70 This 4 week class is a continuation
of the basic skills taught in the elementary class to help refine the skills of the behaviors learned. Some new cues
are added as well. It is a fun, fast-paced way to continue your dog's skills. Canine Elementary and Puppy Preschool graduates welcome! Canine
High School: $70
If
you are interested in taking the CGC test with your dog this class will help prepare you and your dog. Control
Unleashed: $120 Based
on Leslie McDevitt's Control Unleashed, this 6 week class is designed to keep you and your dog on your toes! You
will encounter distractions during stays, recalls, and loose-leash walking that are designed to give you the skills to teach
your dog to stay focused on you no matter what life throws at you. Also includes beginner work into off leash training.
This class is open to Canine Middle School graduates.
Rover Come!: $70 This 4 week class
is designed to specifically help with the dog that has trouble coming when called. We will build on the skills learned
in Canine Elementary regarding the recall, and really give you that extra help needed to get a solid foundation for a recall
from your dog.
Leash
Manners: $70 This 4 week class is designed to help your dog learn to walk nicely on a leash. Most owners love
to walk their dogs, but many dogs can be difficult to walk. This class focuses on this one single area to help give
you the tools to teach your dog to be a great walking partner. This class will also build on the skills learned in the
Canine Elementary class.
Tricks: $70This 4 week class embraces the fact that teaching your dog a
trick is no different than teaching your dog a basic obedience cue. Fun new tricks are taught each week to help
emphasize the endless possibilities in training. Real World: $70 This 4 week class takes your training savior-faire to the streets. You will work basic sit,
down, watch, leave-it, stays, recalls and controlled walking exercises in the din of the real life outside world in different
locations around Chelsea and Dexter. Shape It Up: $70 This 4 week class is designed for the clicker
savvy dog. Instead of lures and rewards you use shaping techniques to teach a variety of different behaviors and concepts.
This is a fun class for dogs of all ages that LOVE clicker training. Not familiar with clicker training? Take
